Job Summary

This role focuses on leveraging data analysis to support decision-making in the Hydrocarbon industry. The Data Analyst will use tools like Power BI and Excel to create dashboards, derive actionable insights, and assist with strategic planning. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to translate complex data findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis:

  1. Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets from various sources within the Hydrocarbon industry.
  2. Identify trends and patterns to support business strategies.

Reporting & Dashboards:

  1. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI.
  2. Use advanced Excel techniques to present KPIs and other key metrics.

Insight Generation:

  1. Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to management.
  2. Assist in strategic planning and improving operational efficiency.

Presentation:

  1. Prepare visually appealing and concise reports.
  2. Deliver presentations to stakeholders across different levels.

Collaboration:

  1. Work with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, and management) to understand business needs.
  2. Provide data-driven recommendations tailored to specific challenges.

Continuous Improvement:

  1. Identify areas for enhancing data quality and reporting processes.
  2. Suggest improvements for greater analytical efficiency.

Required Skills

    • Proficient in Power BI for creating dashboards.
    • Advanced Excel expertise, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
